There are numerous beaches close to the port and the best spots to go swimming is the Elli Beach which is 15-minute drive and a 30-minute walk from the port. If you are planning to visit Lindos which is about an hour journey from Rhode, then you can take a taxi and it cost about €60. You can also opt for a bus which is quite cheap and it cost €5 per person, it will also take about 60-80 minutes to get there.
